I was wondering if the rocker covers off of a 2004/later 1200R would fit on a 2K X1? I would like a complete replacement, not just tops. If they do fit, are they an improvement? Thanx |

They rubber mounted XL covers will give you no advantage. The Sportys still breath through the heads,not through the rocker boxes like the XBs. I don't think they will fit at all.They have cooling fins and because of that they built taller than the former covers. Ralph |

Yep, the XB rocker covers are the way to go. Did it on my M2 after polishing down the course finish. One less piece to leak;) |
