The intake is an electric supercharger kit I believe a company called E-Ram used to sell. They claimed 15HP increases or some such figure. |

I remember that intake... maybe it's because the web site was in Japanese, but I never realized it had an elecric fan inside. I do remember seeing a picture of one bike with two of them installed, one on the other side. As far as the aesthetic appeal... it's as nutty as some stuff I see marketed in the US. |

A tribute to an American airplane, on an American motorcycle, in Japan by Japanese Buellers is cool! The influence of Buell has no boundaries! I'm impressed with their bikes and obvious enthusiasm. |

it was a lot of fun poking around on the japanese forums, found a few links back to badweb and some of our sponsors as well. it was real cool just looking around at the different pic galleries, and how similar they are to ours here, they have get-togethers and sit around joking and drinking and having a good ol' buellin fun time. |

Jayvee posted a link to this Japanese guy's website a while back, but this thread seems like the perfect place to do it again... http://www.jttk.zaq.ne.jp/afk/bb/engn_e.html The guy really loves his Buell. Who could blame him; it's beautiful. |

There is a magazine in japan called "Buell" and it has some great pictures. Unfortunately, it is not a monthly and whenever I am able to go there and visit a Buell dealer they seem to have just one shop copy left that they do not want to sell. I did pick up the Japanese Buell accessory catalog there and found items not listed in the US version including the FCR carb, which is very popular in Japan. |
