so i am getting the d n d slip on for my x1 and i saw that it required the updated exhaust bracket so i just ordered it but then when looking at pictures and it looks like it is missing a 90 degree turn coming from the header to the pipe. anyone know whats up with that? does it come with it or is it just a picture of a different pipe thrown up on the d n d site? i just wanna make sure i dont have to order anything else. thanks |

The 90 degree part is called the mid-pipe. They were $119 from D&D. If you go to American Sport Bike they might have the mid-pipe:http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/6172.html If not call D&D:http://www.danddexhaust.com/ I would also strip the paint on it and get some High Heat paint. I've had 1 rust on me. I sand blasted it and painted it with 1200 degree Duplicolor ceramic paint and it still looks good. (Message edited by 5liter on August 22, 2007) |

If you ordered the regular D&D slip-on, not teh Race Slip-on.. it will come with the elbow. The the exhuast mount.. does yours look like an L or a upside down "Y"? Chase |

Ask them if the Mid-pipe comes with it. If not you will definitely need it. The Mid-pipe has the front hanger mount welded to it. It's also a tight fit going into the muffler so take your time. (Message edited by 5liter on August 22, 2007) |

You won't be disappointed in the D&D. Got mine in June. Nice sound! Give is a few miles to get the tinning out, add a little carbon to it! |

Does the D&D give you enough room to pull the tranny plug? |

Natexlh1000: It probably does, but I take mine off to clean it up. I had my mid-pipe rust on me so I always check that out. It hasn't done it since I sand blasted and repainted it with ceramic HT paint. |
