Have heard horror stories about broken studs. What is the best way to remove stock header on a 02 M2? Is it best to use an impact wrench? |

Never had a problem getting the header off. I just use a 1/4" ratchet. Use some Liquid Wrench or something if the nuts look rusted on the studs. They shouldn't be too tight, though. The header itself comes off a lot easier than it looks. |

What DJK said. They're not big studs, even if they're rusty you oughta be able to unscrew them easily with a normal ratchet handle. rt |
