The recently listed guide to paint codes is excellent, but there was a shade of yellow that came on S1's back (I believe) around 96' or 97' that was called (I believe) "High Voltage Yellow" that wasn't in the paint guide. Am I mistaken in the existence of this color? I only ask because, now that I have gone to a different tank on my Cyclone, it's time for a repaint and yellow is going to be the shade of choice for the body work with the rest of the bike getting the blacked-out treatment. It isn't quite as dark as the "Reactor Yellow". Like I say, it could be that I am mistaken, but it seems like it was a "Lightning only" yellow and only offered for a short time. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Am I crazy? |

You are crazy . . . you'll fit right in.
High Voltage Yellow 1. Spray 3 coats Sikkens 297 yellow base. 2. Spray 3 coats House of Color 501 Neon. 3. Spray 3 coats Sikkens Autoclear. |

Good luck finding the paint. From my understanding, Sikkens discontinued making the old Buell colors. I'd like to purchase some Ice White Pearl if you find a dealer. |
