and I'm hooked. After some "challenges" getting my new 2000 M2 dialed in and road-worthy, took a little ride with some friends from Durango to Silverton for lunch today. Easy little 100 mile round trip jaunt. This bike's a keeper... fun to ride, sounds great, pulls great (even at 10,000 ft), and it's even fun to wrench on. Have to say thanks to everyone here for the help getting it running as well as all of the info you never knew you provided while I was lurking and learning. JJJ |

Well I'll be d$%n! What in the name of motorcycling are you doing here!? Great to hear from you! Hope life is treating you well. I ditched the FXRT after 13 years of touring and thought I would give Buells a whirl. Never expected to run into an old LC buddy on this list. Looks like you're Buell-less now, but you've certainly been through a few. JJJ |

Well, I have been half thinking about a new Buell Ulysses, since I am a dirt bike freak But I am watching to see how they stand up. We head off to South Africa in 10 days, to do some riding on a rental R1200GS, then to Egypt. Was last in SA in 2005 and rented an 1150GS and rode the Western Cape & Karoo desert areas. Yep...I spend a lot of time geeking at bike sites on the Net, these days...great resource. Jack. |
