Anyone have a rough idea of oil, uh, emptiness at various spots on the dipstick of an S2?

For example, is the very bottom one quart low, the next line up 1/2 qt low, the double line max?

I can check my manualification when I get home, but I'm not sure even that spells it out for us... ;)

All I know is that about halfway between the marks is full enough for me. Haven't measured the quantity though between the high and low marks, I figure that's what the screw-on caps are for on the oil bottles. : )

Manual says: (p.3-31)
" If oil level is tank is at or below lower mark, add one quart."

"Do not fill oil tank above double line mark on dipstick"

Also, it says to hold the bike upright so that it is not leaning on the stand.
S2 owners know this well, if you try to open the filler cap when it's on the stand, you'll lose all your oil, 'cause the bike, on the stand, is pretty much horizontal.

Wish I knew that before I put the American Sport Bike sideplates and S1 kickstand on my S2....guess now I'm not part of the "club" ;)

But at least I don't have to look out the window at work every five minutes to make sure it hasn't fallen over, LOL.
