has anyone taken there stock wheels and polished the whole thing? i think that it would look good,any pics floating around, i imagine it would be a long process with cutting down the texture in the spokes. |

I polished my 3 spoke M wheels.Under powdercoat i found sand cast,there shiney but still have tool marks.Much more work than i thought.Good luck,They do look tough! |

Polishing wheels is a REAL PITA!!! If you are gonna go to that trouble, blast, and chrome.. .though, you need a semi-polish to chrome it... Chase |

I say make it easy ... Blast then ceramic or powder coat - can get a silver finish that looks like polished aluminum (or close enough - it'll be at least better than chrome on a Buell though IMO... ) |

To polish the whole thing will be a pain. You also have to keep it shiny which is a lot of work. Chrome will get easely scratched. Just do it subtle like I did, black powdercoat with polished sides: Good luck! |
