Anyone have something non-manual that works for cleaning their rims? I'm tired of hand rubbing with Mothers aluminum cleaner. I'm looking for a idea for a cordless drill attachment or something that doesn't require a lot of elbow grease. | ||

Mothers makes a product. Think its called the "powerball" or something. Theres a big version, and a smaller one for wheels and stuff. Should be a stocked item at a local auto parts store. Now gits ta shinin'!!! | ||

Get an aircraft type aluminum polish .. (works for all metals, plastic, fiberglass .. even paint) .. it will get you an overall better polished surface ... then seal it with a polymer sealant, it will last much longer and it will make future cleanings/polishings MUCH easier ... IMO - not many of the over the counter detailing products are very good ... but Mother's is one of the better OTC products .. | ||

Of all places, check out some of the Airstream (as in the big shiny beercan camper trailers) forums. They have some stuff that will polish those things so you can shave in 'em. I know. My wife wants me to start work on ours.  | ||

A "Power Ball" works fine. Get the small one. You'll still have some hand work to do, especially around the brake disk. |
