Anyone ever see this dual exhaust setup before? Looks like somthing off a Sportster but I know it isn't. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1996-Buell-S1-Light ning-1200-by-Harley-Davidson_W0QQitemZ330151608411 QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item330151608411 |

Bub's were made in the 90's for S1's, etc. Once in a blue moon they come up on ebay, but always for a princely sum. ($300+) Very cool looking and they sound more like a Sportster. The performance isn't as good as a 2 into 1. I finally gave up trying to find them and got a D&D muffler for my S1W. They are also no longer made, but sound GREAT and look good too. |

Yes the bubs will decrease your horse power for a bit. And they're not stainless steel. But they sound very nice, harley like. |

mine held up great even when the bike got totaled. they are a good sounding pipe as well as the looks but i did lose at least 7 hp on the bike after installing although it gave a better lower end grunt. right now the pipes are up at rotzaruks in chattanooga in the event he might want to use them. right now the supertrapp that is on this bike makes for a great soundingand great performing bike although the oil pump didn't hold up and the motor needs to get rebuilt(that's another thread) |
