Hello, I like to show my bike. Purchased in 2002: I've been inspired by the legendary XLCR: And I made this one: The stickers are photoshop, still need to be done like that. Things to come: - Jagg oil cooler - Jagg bypass - Oiltemperature meter - Handprotectors (not those large XB ones, but smaller and stylish) - Stickers - Framebrace (to reduce vibration and make the frame more rigid) - Steeringdamper When those things are done I will post more pics, also from the right. Hope you like Thanks. (Message edited by buellgekk on July 21, 2007) |

the first time i ever saw the cafe was on a poster on the nato base in naples italy back in 78. that was the one and only bike that led me to want the buell even more. great job on the bike. lets see some more. |

I dig everything except the H-D logo on the tank. |

>>>>I dig everything except the H-D logo on the tank. That's what I was going to point out . . . it's kidna distracting and may lead someone to think HD was invovled in the engineering, design or building of the motorcycle. The old AMF #1 still reminds me of the dark days of bomb casings and golf carts.

Thanks for the compliments I don't like to put 'BUELL' on the tank because I don't want to be associated with the commercial japanse like crap that buell is producing nowadays. I used to love buell back in the ninetees, but it was a little bit over since introducing the xb series and now with the liquid bike, I almost feel ashame to wear 'buell'. I'm just into the classic harley racing scene. No offence, I hope I didnt insult anyone here The logo's are just a photoshop, I still have to see how it will look in real. Thanks. |

I'm just into the classic harley racing scene. My thoughts exactly, don't like anything since the X1 and really hate the Blast.... "oh you have a Buell, I rode one of those at a training school, is yours a Blast?" |

You put somebody eles's name on the product of his blood, sweat and tears. It is an insult to one of the real stand up guys in the world. H-D would not have built that bike in a million years. The Blast is a very neat bike, but then I like big singles. You don't need to like the current bikes just don't give H-D credit for something Buell did. |

Thanks guys, you are probably right You convinced me. I think I leave the bike right as it is. Here are non photoshopped pics with the actual stickers on the tank, it's from my 'nickname' and own logo. Now only I get the credits hehe. Thanks. (Message edited by buellgekk on July 21, 2007) |

Ohhhhkayyyy... An exposed spring rear shock would add more character. You know those Showa shocks are Japanese, yes? ;) |

Yes Blake I know In the future I'd like to buy an exposed spring shock, but I can't afford it right now. Tattoodnscrewd, here's a front view. Greets. |

I like the 'Panzer' on the tank much better than the H-D stuff, too. You've done an awesome job personalizing the bike, and it's my opinion that too many logos or stickers just tend to reduce the overall visual impact of the bike. It's like when you go to a bike show and there's all these custom painted bikes - you listen to the comments of the spectators-- They'll say "wow, nice paint job!" But when there's a really well done bike that is painted black, they'll say - "Wow, nice bike!" Your's fits the second category to a "T"!! NICE BIKE!! Thanks for the compliments. Leftcoastal, you're right about that. Small question: what do you mean by "category to a "T"!!" Here some more pics. Before the tailsection job: And some closeups: Greets |

"to a T" is an idiom meaning "perfectly" or "to perfection" Sorry for the confusion - sometimes it's easy to forget the international membership of the BadWeb! English might be a second (3rd, 4th?) language for many of the Buell fans here. Again - your S1CR is one fine motorcycle! I REALLY like the way you did the wheels and tail section! AL |

I'm with Lefty, I like Panzer better than the H-D decals. And maybe the H-D derby and ignition covers should go too. The ignition cover with the Buell Pegasus logo is a beautiful thing, not sure if there was a companion for the derby cover. One thing that irritated me when I was riding a Buell was a suggestion from some drone that I had bought a Buell because it was "cheaper than a real Harley." So I'd always like to distance myself from looking like I was a H-D wanna be guy. Jack |

there are more personalized buells out there than real one of a kind h-d's i think. there are very few individualized bikes that really stand out from the other one's out there. this guy did a bang up job. |

So, since you're embarrassed that it's a Buell, what do you tell people when they ask you what is is. Do you lie and tell them it's a custom bike that YOU built? Tasty tidbit on the bike but I still like Hodakaguys bike much better. |
