What bike? What's wrong with it?

Where in St Louis?

If it's a Buell all the local dealers (Surdyke, Gateway, Dale's) are the same people. Cozhair (sp?) in Decatur or Mid-America in Columbia are the next-closest.

The independent shop I went to closed, but there might be some local ones that would look at it.

Looks like a '02 X1 from the profile.

These bikes are easily owner serviceable Vic. This would be a great time to upgrade your intake since the stock part is busted from your crash. Lots of ForceWinders (for not too much, I paid $180ish for mine, pretty good price) and used/new race intakes (if you are 5'10" or more this part may intrude into your knee space, I couldn't stand the thing) on a certain auction site I won't mention.

You should check out the selection of c.f. tank trim and race type intakes from American Sport Bike and if Al doesn't have a stock headlight you can get parts from any of our dealership type sponsors. Save the labor and do the light yourself if nothing else...

Good luck, hope you weren't injured too bad.
