I am currently doing some upgrades to it, mostly just appearance wise for now. The last six of the VIN# is 000020, and the signiture series cover says that it is #20 of 398, built 7/27/95. It originally was Parkway Blue, but the original owner repainted it when it fell over in the back of his pick up. It is currently purple/silver metal-flake. As much as I hate to say it, the purple has actually grown on me (Yeah, yeah, insert "purple bike" slam of choice here!)! I plan to repaint it when I get finished with the rest of the work. I haven't decided color though... I love the Pearlescent White, but I'm not sure I want to strip it to the frame to repaint it at this point. And, don't know how it would look that color with the dark frame. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Those cast swing arms are pretty rough, it will take some time to smooth them out! Now I know why the factory coats the swing arms and wheels. I was fortunate that the previous owner kept all factory documentation. I even have a copy of the original MSO, along with brochures. Thanks for the tip on the S2 page also!
