Butch, Thanks for the tip on the saddle bags! I'm not sure why I didn't see Aaron's post on the swing arm when I did my search the first time... Thanks again for the help! Sorry it took me so long to post. I had computer/internet problems..... |

Here is a "before" shot of my 96 S2T. I am currently doing some upgrades to it, mostly just appearance wise for now. The last six of the VIN# is 000020, and the signiture series cover says that it is #20 of 398, built 7/27/95. It originally was Parkway Blue, but the original owner repainted it when it fell over in the back of his pick up. It is currently purple/silver metal-flake. As much as I hate to say it, the purple has actually grown on me (Yeah, yeah, insert "purple bike" slam of choice here!)! I plan to repaint it when I get finished with the rest of the work. I haven't decided color though... I love the Pearlescent White, but I'm not sure I want to strip it to the frame to repaint it at this point. And, don't know how it would look that color with the dark frame. We'll see, I still have some time on that one. |

Butch, Yes, I found Aaomys post, and I am working on it now. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Those cast swing arms are pretty rough, it will take some time to smooth them out! Now I know why the factory coats the swing arms and wheels. I was fortunate that the previous owner kept all factory documentation. I even have a copy of the original MSO, along with brochures. Thanks for the tip on the S2 page also! I'll post some more pictures when I get done. |

Ebutch - great pics, love the bike. Same color as mine! (1995, 1365/1399 sig series). What header pipe do you have? Looking at mine (OEM header / supertrapp can) I can't put the SS2R on my header, the collector looks waaay too small. |
