The rubber strap on my Force Exhuast has rotted apart. I think its a stock bracket??

Local auto parts store had the same strap just not long enough.

What are my options?

The rubber strap is not a Buell part, it is a Force part, the updated front mount. It is supposed to be a high temp rubber on the inside of that metal strap ... but I don't buy it - mine started deteriorating almost immediately .. Contact them for a replacement, or make your own ... as long as it is a strap- cracking shouldn't be an issue - that was the reason they went to that strap - the older ones had the mount welded right to the pipe which led to lots of cracks.

I believe it's a $20-$30 part from them ....

I used a heavy duty stainless band clamp on my Force pipe after cutting the front bracket off and welding up the crack.

They will melt after only a few miles, but make sure you have the small metal bracket that moves the strap back a few inches. This does help the strap for melting/deteriating so fast.

I am running a Force. I had the muff shop weld some angle iron to the collector. Of COURSE I have the wishbone hanger.

Dynodave - Force actually stopped making them with the welded on front bracket ... caused too many cracks on too many bikes - it cracks right off the front of the weld/bracket .. keep your eye on that .. It may still crack even with the updated front hanger. Eshardball and myself both cut the bracket off of our Force pipes to reduce the risk of further cracks ..
