Does anyone know the part number? Nothing in the parts book or shop manual. Mine's frozen and needs to be replaced. |

52389-98Y, pullwire, seat latch - remote (not illustrated). Supercedes to M0085.E. $8.95 list price, shows in stock at: Quaid Temecula Harley-Davidson Temecula P-(951) 506-6903 Available part, vendor direct to any dealer, lead time est. 5 days. If you're just frozen, try either BG's "In-Force" penetrant to free it, or lube it like crazy with dri-slide throttle/clutch cable lube (and re-do every time you lube your control cables). The BG stuff is indispensible as far as I'm concerned but you have to get it at a car service center, I use it all the time on my old cars. And no bike-housing garage should ever be out of dri-slide (available at most bike and HD/B dealers).

Ratbuell: Thanks. The handle broke off when I was trying to free it, so it's time for a new one. |
