Howdy, well I installed Custom Dynamics LLC Brake Light Modulator $31.45 and Headlight Modulator $62.95. A year ago, my wife and I were rear-ended at a stop light on our 1960 Panhead - at very low speed. The insurance settlement provided funds for the used S3 and the used 620 Monster for my wife. I plan on beating my panhead back into ridable condition with a hammer. I feel much safer now, since installing the modulators. I temporarily duct-taped the light sensor that prevents it from modulating at night, because they recommend testing it in a few locations. I can't bring myself to drill a hole in the fairing - so I will upgrade to velcro! My headlight has a small silver reflector that has come loose from it's slot, and fallen. Does anyone know how to put it back in and secure it? I also want to upgrade the H4 bulb. Many thanks. Patrice - Austin, TX    | ||

Cool bike, Signal Dynamics products rock, I have the brake light modules on my bikes and people seem to not tail gate me either. Their voltage monitors are the best. Try J B Weld on the headlight tab. PIAA powersports bulbs are pricey, but last longer and are brighter than Sylvania Silver Stars, and have a 1 year warranty. Good luck. | ||

The headlight thingy came loose on mine as well. I used hot glue from a glue gun to paste it back together. That was about 4 years ago and still holding. Only one problem I never thought of, the heat from the headlight made the glue run a little to the bulb and its now glued in too. When it blows I'll have to use a heat gun to remove it. I'd try epoxy or JB weld and let it dry/set before putting the bulb back in. | ||

Thanks for the headlight tips! How do you get access to the metal thingy? Does the headlight lense come off the housing? Thanks! |
