Ok im sure this has been talked about before. But i have to ask could some one tell me exactly what swing arms would fit on a 97 S1 with not to much work involved and what other gas tanks would also fit on. And the finale question for now will any oil tank work. You see i was going to leave the tuber family and go buy a new xb. But instead im going to do some thing different with the old S1. Im open for suggestion & ideas. Thanks,
Clint D

Any of the tuber swingarms will bolt on with little or no fiddling.IIRC any tank from a non FI bike will work--except S-2.

Yup. 99+ model year swing arms and big tanks from 97-98 s3's or all model year m2's should just bolt right up.

You'll need the later shock and rear shock mount, too. You can always modify the stock mount if need be.

Rum-I have all that stuff you need. I have a newer updated shock, swingarm, front mounting point and the swingarm adjusters and the axle. If you want it name your price. With all this stuff it would probably be the easiest mod you could do. You will have to purchase new bearings as i removed the old ones. All the stuff has about 18,000 miles on it save for the shock which was replaced by A.D. farrow at about 7,000 miles-so the shock has about 11,000 on it. Let me know as I don't need it anymore...plus we aren't that far away from one another. It appears as though your getting the sickness: )
