Anyone ever used one of these? If so, what do you think? http://www.dobeckperformance.com/ |

I have one on my firebolt. I think it works good if it is what you need. It will only ADD fuel. And it allows you to adjust your FI like a carb. But you have to know where and if you need extra fuel, like on a dyno. Otherwise your just guessing.....Charlie |

If you have not made drastic changes to your bike the Race ECM will likely do fine the Dobek, or the powercommander are fuel modifiers the PC3 is "supposed" to allow you to add or remove fuel depending how it is set, and weather you have the Delux 02 sensor. A discussion with Pammy at Cyclerama indicated that it does not effect the mixture down below ~2000 rpm I have the PC3, it is zeroed out and the bike runs fine after an AFV reset and an o2 sensor replacement If you have done extensive rework, heads cams HComp pistons etc then the ECMs' "model" may not be good, then a Dyno tune in a properly equipped shop with a competent tuner will be needed to get it dialed in |
