I am mounting a chin spoiler on my 2002 M2. Got all the mounting hardware from Al at American Sportbike. The only question is, and I know it's a stupid one, but where does the metal bracket for mounting the right front of the chin spoiler mount to the bike? Am I right in thinking that it attaches to the front shock mount? Anything I should know before starting the job? Thanks.

Front shock mount is correct. Be sure that you have the bike supported before removing the front shock bolt to install the bracket.

I have bike on an American Sport Bike lift that hooks up to the pegs. Is that good enough?
