Took my Sportster out for about a 20 miler to clean the plugs. I hadn't rode it since July.
WOW, what a difference!
I am amazed at how confident the Buell has made me as a rider.
The Sporty still has that HD grunt and those cool sounds, but...geez, it is a wonder how I rode it for so long.
I wore my Wayne Newton model full face helmet too, what a DOPE!!! It took me sooooo long to figure this out. Looking cool is nice when you are putt-putting around town, but enjoying a ride is way better!

So the helmet made the ride more enjoyable?

Yeah, as much as I hate to admit it.
I think that I mentioned in an earlier post about seeing a guy on a BEEMER last summer and thinking "...if you like the Buell so much, maybe it's time to try one of those...ugh...full-face helmets..."
Makes all the difference in the world to be able to actually see as you ride.
