The X1 frame has the extra tube on the lower front tie bar. But I noticed after getting the bike dyno tuned and two short power wheelies on the way home-- the the bolt had touched the oil filter. I am using the larger ford f1-a1 oil filter--- its a huge ass filter. It would have been a bad day if the oil filter had been punctured-- either caused a wreck or burned up an engine. |

The term "UNIPLANER" is an old Norwegian term that roughly translates to "F&*# - that motor really moves around a lot in the frame!" You might want to reverse that bolt, or use a smaller filter! AL |

or I could just stay out of the thottle and keep the front wheel on the ground.. I'll probably do something to protect that filter. |

Now then don't be rash there! I suggest you put the normal oil filter back on and continue the wheelies. Remember to blip the throttle on the way down to reduce the impact. |

my m2 hits the big filter unless i put a dent in the filter. i don't feel like the dent hurts the filter at all. better than rubbing a hole in it! philip |

I am not a wheelie rider. don't think its too safe on the road or at my skill level. I had just picked the bike up from the dyno shop and was playing with the throotle. When the front wheel came up. Kinda shocked me. ---- so just dent the filter- thats simple enough |
