I've done some searching, but having found much. I was wondering if anybody out there has found an alternative to the stock mirrors, but still be a fairing type of mount? I saw some post about the watercraft mirrors, anything else.
Thanks
Dean

If you don't mind using a Dremel, there are a bunch of options. You'll just need to slightly increase the spread of the holes to accomodate the mirror. I have XB9R mirrors on my S3T.

I also put a set of XB9R mirrors on mine. The short ones. They look much better and hardly shake at all. I did not have to increase the holes but I cut some off otf the studs because they stuck out a little far. Part numbers are N0161.02A8 and N0162.02A8 left and right respectively.

Lake or Brion: either of you have a photo of your bike with the XB9R mirrors installed?

One thing, Lake Buler was right I did have to file out one of the holes very slightly to accomidate the bolt centers. I used a small round hand file.

Out of curiousity, are there any chrome replacement mirrors available that won't shake?

Not sure if they'll fit a S3 though.
