thanks guys,, its really appreciated. phatj i kept it angled because i always kind liked the look of the s2 air cleaner, it sets the bike apart. but that is another reason why i made it in seperate plates. all i need to do is make a new backing plate and i can rotate or move it anywhere i like. i have also thought of making a cover plate thats just al and open filter to replace the carbon fiber filter for fun. but what can i say i kinda got a thing for the angled green carbon fiber air cleaner.. it just screams s2. mackay,, not my fault,, lefty is the one ordering up the 5'x8'x3' blocks of it... i will see if the powers at be will grant some room for me in the kv,, maybe they can move my thread to a file over their..hear are a couple of the previous thread titles i had posted. maybe they want to move some of them too. still need to add more to the one on oldogs dash.. Let the s2 projects begin!! Aaomy's custom breather set up and billet catch can! Aaomy's xb / tuber front motor mount Aaomy's Custom Billet Dash Aaomy custom air cleaner project, yes another one! and again guys thanks,, around hear its just a grey bike.. with the bad web brothers,, its a just a grey s2t bike but with lots of fun billet goodies...thanks guys |

Hey, does the motor mount you did fit the S3? And if so, ya gots some drawing? Now that's a GOOD idea, why not post some of your autocad drawings for some of you goodies. I'll model 'em up and give ya some 3D views |

I love the cone idea - the theory behind it is sound, especially considering the volume of air in question. I'd love to see a dyno test. |

Well, if these incredible one off goodies are for sale, I'll take one of those, and one of those... defiantly one of these and one of those... I'd love to own a hand cranked motor mount for my scoot but what I really am looking forward to is what Aaomy is going to come up with next! ...simply amazing! |

Aomy - You've got the disease! I'm an old school machinist of sorts but without any machines any more. I'm not only seeing beautiful work, I'm also seeing some very good tooling. The Buck Adjust-Tru 3-jaw and Burnerd 4-jaw chucks caught my eye, that kind of tooling is the stuff that made North American and British industry great. And is that gear head lathe a Standard-Modern? I owned one of those briefly. You're a lucky guy! Jack |
