Can anyone recommend a bike lift for X1- front and/or rear? I've never used one but would like to an I don't know much about them... Not a jack mechanism, but the wheeled lever variety of jack stand. |

Love my LP USA stuff these pics are borrowed from the LP site only for informational purposes. and if memory serves me...Buell part number B-41174 was the LP swingarm lift. Also have a set of the Bob Dron triangles for cleaning and transport duty. Pit Bull has good stuff also. |

I use a lift like this and it works great. $95 is a good price on this. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Buell-cycle-stand_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ3428 4QQitemZ4567592127QQrdZ1 |

I just ordered a universal stand combo from Handy Industries for $99.00 (front and rear). Thanks for your input. |

What do you jack it up if you intend to replace the neck bearings? |

You use a little bottle jack under the front shock mount to get the front end up. It's scary having both wheels off, though. When I have to have both wheels off at the same time, I'll lift the bike with my engine hoist. That way I can still move the bike in my small garage. |

Here is my stand with the front off the ground with a cherry picker's assistance. (It's probably even more amazing that I got the whole bike back together!)
