Much better than stock, no noises, better braking. I did have to enlarge the mounting holes, mine were a bit too tight. It was more removing the gold paint inside the holes then actually removing metal.   Edv Posted on Saturday, August 06, 2005 - 12:02 pm:        I have a set on my 96 S-1 and I would say they are comparable to but not any better than the original Ferodo pads that came on the bike, better than the SBS though and also better than the EBC. These are the gold racing pads that I have not the Z pads they sell for the Harley crowd. Ed
