I have not been able to find the topic of mirrors anywhere. Does anyone know of any good mirror options for the tube frames? I would like to stay away from bar end mirrors. Any info would be appreciated. |

I bought some mirror adaptors from another guy on this board, Sam Minnoch. I can't recall his user name, but PM me and I'll send you his e-mail address if you are interested. The adaptors are $20 and work great with the stock mirrors. They lay the mirrors down, so they go past the end of the bars. You can actually see something behind you besides your shoulders and they don't look so much like lollipops. |

I got my pair last week, Thank You Shazam. I just put them on last night and they work nice. Haven't taken a ride with them on yet but I could tell by just sitting on it that it is a great improvement from the stock position. I did spend some time tweaking the position on each one so that my knuckles cleared the mirror posts and that they matched. My only concern is that the mirrors dont swivel enough to the inside so that I can see just the edge of my arms in the mirrors. But I have to ride it first in traffic and see how it looks. Thanks again Shazam, money well spent. Oh and no one should have any concerns with buying from him, he sent me my pair without receiving payment first. He's a stand up guy. |

You guys know what I would really like to do is make a pair of those paul yaffe mirrors. It looks like he is useing that 3 inch bicycle mirror from that certain company mentioned on xfiles page. I know at somepoint im going to get some arms made like that. Im not sending him 250 bucks for a set. Esp since from what I can tell that 3 inch mirror looks like the one on the x files page , it cost 12 bucks. |

I bought bicycle mirrors from my local Schwinn shop. They are made by mirrycle and fit the bars on my bike. They are small and are a little too low as I have to move my head to see them. But they do work a lot better than the stock mirrors that only reflect my shoulders. I would love those adapters! Den 99X1 |

Well I had a few friends that were interested, so I contacted a local machinist that is now making them. The only problem is that he is much more expensive than Sam was. I decided to get them made in stainless and some make in steel that are chromed. 35.00 for stainless or chrome. If anyone is interested, just let me know they should be done within a week. |

Actually, these are the ones that I am getting made. I am using the pictures the Shazam sent me. The machinist that is making the relocators for me had a minimum order, so I am trying to sell them to get even. I will be making a minimal $5 after shipping. |

Seth, that is why I quit doing these. I was/did lose money on every pair. It cost me $20 to have each pair machined. I sold 50 pair in three years at $20 so I lost about $3 a pair in shipping. No big deal it was fun and a lot of people really like them. don't expect to get your money back soon. good luck |

Well it is going to cost me more than that, I am not really looking to make any money on these. The goal is going to be getting rid of the excess sets that me or friends have no use for. I have had a few people on ebay interested, but if they sell all the better. |
