Spider when I get a chance I will take digital pics of them side by side in comparison and get those measurements for you. I still think my idea of using wheel spacers from the custom chopper crowd will work perfectly for the pivot point. |

I should have known I wasn't the only one with this idear... kinda glad im not actually, more minds on one problem, less problems
anyone figure out where to mount the top of the shock?
is there a correct geometric angle so you dont have to worry about binding up?
i wanna do this to my s3.... someday |

Well Wycked what I am thinkin is instead of spacers slap a big ol chunk of stainless round bar in my lathe and make longer versions of the ones that hold the tubers swing arm on. |

You have the seat tube, and the support arms for the seat, and a little existing triangulated geometry in place. I'm thinking either a bucket bracket or welded in structure of some sort once the oil tank is out of the way. I missed on the recent ebay xb swingarm that just closed for under $100 but I'll be wanting an adjustable rear axle which is another cost restrictor. |

Spidy, how you going to get the swingarm in place and how are the bars going to bolt together? the bar going through the XB swingarm is solid that threads on one side. As to shock angle I was going to match the angle off my XB. |

Well I would have to get the XB Swing arm in my hands to decide for sure,
I would either fabricate a new mounting bracket all together or just mod the existing mounting "slugs" that the tubers use.
As for the shock mounting I plan on moding the frame in between the top of the seat or rear down tube and the top of the battery box area. |
