Just picked up my new (to me) 1125CR last friday. Here's a picture on the way home. And yes, I know this helmet doesn't go with this bike, but I have ordered a very nice one, which is in backorder, of course...   | ||

Noting wrong with a dirtbike helmet i think. it's what you like! I sometimes ride with a downhill helmet ,it has nice air vents  | ||

Well, at about 50mph it gets very noisy, even with earplugs in. At speeds in excess of 100mph it is really terrible... I don't mind the way it looks though, except for the color of course... It should be red.  Anyhow, I ordered a nice Shoei in matte black with red stripes, which will suit the bike perfectly.  The only thing is, that it's in backorder... I think it'll glow in the dark when it arrives here, with all that Fukushima misery... | ||

Greenlanternjeep: This buell is developed by the german pegasus race team: the folks at the German Pegasus Race Team have taken the 1190RR race platform and made the Erik Buell Racing 1190 Typhon streetfighter concept Last thing i heart they developed a parts kit for xb , 1125cr or 1125r. If you like i can ask a friend of mine for some information on the parts kit. he knows some of te guys who work at the pegasus race team. | ||

I think the Erik Buell Racing fighter will be pretty good. They need to clean up those fenders into a more standard form. looks to dressed up... If you go to their Buell-parts site, you'll notice the point on the front fender. The radiator & under-carriage might look better white as far as color-balance. Buell-parts.com is a partner/sponsor of the pegasus race team. They recently announced on their site that they plan to sell parts kits for various buells (which most certainly would include 1125r & cr's). They have a good idea if they'd clean-up the fenders & a few possible design flaws that don't match the Erik Buell Racing flow from the upper half & tail. | ||
