Here is my latest breather mod. I originally had a hose routed up and over to the other side of the bike with a K&N filter on the end. Oil would still make it over the hump and spit out, messy. I needed a catch can. American Sport bike had this little filter and catch can for sale (I think it was around $120). I ran down to the local marine store (a great place for stainless steel hardware by the way) and picked up a 1" clamp to mount the can clamp to the frame (Thanks for the tip Tat!). Haven't done a test ride yet. I'm hoping those tiewraps don't expire from the header heat. I think my nose maybe the first to find out. Here is the gutted airbox going back on. I'll try and come up with a better background to show off the rest of the bike. I think the sanded/polished rims look gooooood. Dana out. |

Dana, Looks good, but I would be concerned with the hose routing causing a "trap" for oil below the white line. PPiA |
