Dan, I like the black S3. I'm going to be painting my blue one black this winter. You should replace your shock with an open spring one likes the Works Performance. I thought that I had a pic on this pc but couldn't find it. |

Hey Mike; 59,000 mi.and still running strong.Mine is a '99 also, and I thought I had high miles at 32,000.By the way I had the same problem with my rear shock,my dealer would'nt honor the "goodwill".Should have gone aftermarket at that time but did'nt. Anyway, beautiful bike,59,000 mi.Jap bikes take note. |

My solution to the too high seat height of the Uly. It is a 2006 XB9SX with a Uly front fender kit. Sits 3 inches lower and handles the fire roads nicely. Three thousand miles in three weeks and a three thousand ft hill summit to boot.

Nope, no resizing... I like it better this way. By the way... aren't you missing a belt or a drive chain or something Joe? |

nice line up of Buell's! I have new 55T rear pulley, has to be modified to fit. Waiting on 26T front and 136T belt. Longer wheel base requires this setup, would have been easier to go chain and sprockets but I love a challenge and love the belt drive too. |

And here is a video of one of my favourite lunchtime rides. This is about 40 mins from my office in Auckland. http://web.mac.com/david_cohen_design/iWeb/Site/Podcast/B655AA7E-2239-4AC9-AED7-7A56591E2EE6.html (needs quicktime) Tons more roads like it around here too. Life with the XB12X album is here: http://homepage.mac.com/david_cohen_design/PhotoAlbum13.html and tons of general bike shots/wallpapers are here: http://homepage.mac.com/david_cohen_design/PhotoAlbum6.html (it's good to be the art director of a bike mag ) dd |
