I think that's Ferris if I remember correctly from when that pic was posted in the past. I'm probably wrong though. |

Tripp, Fencing is great for cardio, awesome for hand eye coordination, (wish I had some) and beats on you a bit less than boxing. I think http://www.sc2.com/~smokingrocks/ is the local SCA group for you. Olympic fencing is very formalized, SCA ( Society of Creative Anachronism ) fencing has more variety, (two sword, rapier & cloak etc. ) and there is a "play" aspect there you might enjoy. Tell the better half that with fencing, size matters not, testosterone matters not, there is just skill. My buddy Yasmina is a "white scarf" (fencing master type) cute as a button, deadly with a blade. |

Then a cloud mass from the south and west came. The last part of the ride was rather wet. I discovered that the frame offers decent protection for my legs, the way it is recessed. Nice bonus I hadn't thought about before today.

Prof Norm, You have a good eye for photography. Nice stuff. Have you found your way over to the Northwest corner of the Storm Fronts section of the BadWeB yet? Most of the people that hang out there are reasonably well behaved and don't bite too hard. Drop by and say “Hi.” |

Ray, Thanks for the nice words and the tip about the storm fronts section. I'll check it out. BTW, the sun reflecting off the mirror in the above photo was entirely an accident. A nice one... Prof |

We Had a great ride today up through the mountains to go see the races at Willow Springs today. Several BadWebers joined in, including S B Jim, Slaughter, JProvo, Ferris and myself. This is a shot of S B Jim, Mine and Ed's bikes on Lake Hughes Rd, on the way up to meet the rest of the group. Ed is currently riding a 1150R Beemer but he changes bikes more often than Hugh Hefner changes girlfriends, sheesh. He used to ride an X1, we may get him back in the fold yet Timbo |

Hey Fred! While the roads were dry and for the most part clear, the recent downpours put just enough debris on the road to keep us all on our toes. That being said, we did ride at a fun pace, and actually it was Jim who blasted out in front when he felt a particular car was holding things up just a little too much at one point. When it was clear we got to blast off to reel him in, and he's no slouch. Lets put it this way, his new tire is entirely scrubbed in now. It was great fun! Timbo |

Over 24 hours without a new picture, that's insane! In a feeble attempt to break this visual silence I submit the following. Put some new decals on the tank last weekend. Enjoy,
