Sell a Harley ... buy a Buell or ... ... two. Having 3 Buell ain't really a BAd thing is it? Now I wish I'd taken more notes on S1W and S2 discussion. I signed up for the test. DAve |

Dave, Having 3 Buells is a very good thing except when its time to move! Having 4 makes it a nightmare!! |

Dan, If the Boss will give me some time off I'll be glad to help you move them there Buells. Might even invite Court and we can grab lunch and dinner on our way to San Antoino, most likely via New Mexico, Denver, Kansas, Missouri, and Arkansas then down through Texas to Texas Hill Country. What you think? Arvel |

Thanks guys. I'll be looking for S1W and S2 trivia in the archives to get up to speed. I've also been half-arsed lookin' for a used Blast. I find I can get way more cycles in my garage than cars. Hmmmmmm ... maybe a 4 car garage with an attached 3 bedroom efficiency? The AF turned me down for moving to a location of my choice in the lower 48. So if I do move by thier choice ... it'll be just my damned luck and maybe a huge Buell sale will ensue. Time to explore other options. Maybe a move to MO is in order? DAve |

Eeeeek, Yep. I'm still running it in though. The turbo makes it run hotter and I want to keep that rear head/cylinder cool while I do. I trimmed it down a bit more last night. Later I'll be making up an aluminium something to match one for the intercooler. Rippin, RAM PPiA |

Peter: Welcome to the club of those who have put more money in their bikes than their actual market value. We are happy, economically senseless fools! |

Jose': I think I started that club in 1990 with a very expensive RS1200 and raised the mark in 1996 with an INCREDIBLY expensive S-1. I have absolutely no regrets and nothing but fond memories ! |

Cort: I remember your purple S1+, as it was called, back in late 1996 when you visited Atlanta. Are you not sad you parted with it? B2W writers seem to think S1's will become the brand's most collectible model. |

Jose, Haha! True enough.... Hot Rods are not generally rational from a financial point of view. Kahuna, The 6 speed is a good thing. It should be standard. I can justify the cost though, by increasing engine longevity due to lower revs for the same distance traveled. I think Court, Do you have any pictures of those bikes? |

Jose, I love my Ferodo. My road in front of my house is my "dyno".There are rolling hills , on top of the first hill you can see if anyone is coming.Make your run and use the brakes to slow down before the next. The Ferodo disc works good.Never had a problem. |
