Bought my '03 XB9S about a month ago! Been grinnin since I grabbed the first hand full of throttle! These bikes are a BLAST to ride. Still getting used to all the noise from the rockerboxes though.  | ||

Well, here they are. Except for two final additions (heated grips + an XM Roady Satellite Radio Receiver and Speakers) my Frankenbuell is completed. I've tried to turn it into more of a sport touring bike in the BMW tradition than a lot of Buells are. My first long trip (Iowa-Northern Georgia) is this week.   | ||

You are probably right. I recognize the air intake scoop from a Yamaha. They used to make a bike called a Yamaha Fazer that I was in love with when I was in High School. Loved the looks of that bike with the big chrome air intakes. Don't think they make them anymore, not sure. | ||
