Geez, you put the bar-n-shield all over the visable paint, and hide "Buell" under your ass??? ;) The dash looks nice though. Neil Garretson X0.5 |

Denis: I recently visited my local electronics supply house and came accross a small 12V B&W camera for $150. The 4" or so screen (color only) was $250 (12V). An easy two part system but I got to thinking that perhaps it would be cheaper (and better) to buy a video camera and cannibalize it. Where did you obtain your supplies? jose |

Jose- I was at Mendelsons in Dayton Ohio (about 10 acres of all sorts of surplus) last week and ran across about 10 different small LCD panels. I believe they started from about $80 and went up to $250 or so. No idea if they were weatherproof or not. I am willing to stop in and get more info if that would be helpfull. Whatever it is, I would have serious concerns about water getting in there, sun breaking it down, or not being able to see it under many conditions. Its also a good place to get a 1 farad capacitor if anyone wants to gut it and use it as a trash can Lots of the scrap comes from Wright Patterson AFB, never know what you will come across in there.
