Here is my finished tail. I chopped the strainer and had it chromed. Also moved the plate to the swingarm.

Ok before all the everyone goes nuts and says "Buells are for riding" and all that other stuff. Please remeber that along with showing my bike at bike events and as a display for my business, I put miles on it to, some even at track days. I built/installed all the parts on my bike myself and had Appleton Harley dyno tune it 78hp. So with that said, enjoy the pics... (or hate them I guess???) In the first pic you can see I added alot of chrome. But if you look closer you will see that the polished fron fork no longer has the tabs for the dual brake setup (I don't ride that hard). I also polished the swingarm, made a custom derby cover, and added the Badweb Buell 20th polished oil plug (thanks again, those were cool). In this pic you can see the custom Timing cover I made, polished forks, polished swingarm, custom built belt gaurd, polished and painted rear swingarm brace, and my custom built battery cover. This pic is from the back. I made my own plate mount and have added an LED tail light setup. You may also notice one extra gauge in the dash. It is a clock! I bought the dash from a former Bueller in Wisconsin and added it to my bike. I also added S3 handlebars for comfort. Since the rise is greater and a bit narrower it was tricky getting the clutch cable to clear. Finally here are some pics of my bike at night. I added LED Lights as you can tell. Thanks... If you have any questions please ask |

Xbjelly9s - that rear shot of your XB looks badass! I like that plate moved to the swingarm - looks bitchen! I was thinking of doing the same thing on the S1 - did you make your own mount? Koz5150 - how is it that your PM wheels have no slots? The bike looks really nice. |

Socal-Thank you! Yes I made my own mount(notice the lp light from tail)attached to the holes were the belt guard used to be. I also did the cutting, grinding and sanding on the tail before chroming.

If you notice the bike you have pictured above lookvery different in the two pics. Can you see the differences? 1. Different radiators - One has the hose on the front, the other on the back. 2. Different exhaust - One is a side exhaust the other is under the tail. 3 Rims - two different colors 4. Bar end turnsignals - one has them, the other has something else. 5. Frame color and text - One is black with text the other is just silver I saw this bike the other night online somewhere also... Here's my pic... A cute kid that came by our booth at Cyclemania
