Didn't have the whole story. Vote early, vote often.  Lie to pollsters. A buddy says the "none of your business" angry responses to pollsters outside early voting sites is probably Dems voting for Trump, ( really don't want to be outed as sane! & therefore attacked by their Party ) while the folk that say Mickey Mouse or Scooby Doo are probably Republicans trolling pollsters. ( And fighting the poll exploitation tactics ) I point out the first openly gay cabinet appointment was by Bush. Trump has decades of partying with Broadway gay culture. Gay don't mean stupid. Anecdotal, I was talking with my niece and her household, early this year, and politics came up. I told them I didn't care as long as they weren't pro-rape pro-Hamas, which was a problem for me. Hoo boy! Did I get an earful! Proper context is important. These are "theatre people" active in the local arts community, ( small in Rochester compared to the Big Apple, sure, but importantly, people that actually meet in person between tweets. ) And let's call it fringe, or "Alt". So... Earful. Turns out that they have lots of gay and Jewish friends. ( not a lot of devout Muslims in musical theatre ) And their friends are getting harassed, Nasty & Badly, by the pro-rape crowd. And while I may think them fringe, ( lots of piercing ) they're smart and vocal. There is hope... | ||
