They would wear out if you were changing tires for a living, but if you only use them on a few dozen tires a year, you don't need Snap-On quality and Chinese low quality and precision isn't important on tire valves like a quality fit is on head bolts and other high torque/high cost applications. And the cheap ones, are no great loss if you drop one. Another pro tip! Wearing nitrile disposable gloves keeps your hands clean cheap while working with road grime covered mechanical stuff. There's some disagreement on glove use by my professional mechanics friends, to be sure. Ground in grease and packed fingernails are informal badges of honor, working class to some, and others appreciate not needing to scrub toxic chemicals off before eating lunch. Dexterity reduction is an issue, but modern gloves are pretty good. The dividing lines may be along job specific ones, come to think. Mechanics that have to go up front in a shop and do retail sales, prefer to wear gloves so they don't get the grease on products for sale and paperwork they give customers. Not an issue if you're not in contact with the public. As an amateur, I only glove up if I'm working with really greasy dirty parts, metal polishing grit, or easily corroded materials I want to keep polished. That's from years working with metals used in chemical plants. If it's Titanium or Stainless, fingerprints wipe right off. But mild steel corrodes fast, my sweat is pretty corrosive, and the acids on my skin leave marks that don't just wipe off with a rag. It's just more work, to do over a labor intensive job I sweated over getting a mirror polish on! Prints show up like it's a crime scene and CSI has dusted! It's application specific. But she's correct! After you vote the leftists in they start censoring speech, starting riots based on hate lies, arrest and even murder their political enemies. As we've seen since 2020. The easiest way to translate leftists is to change "they" to "we" when they're talking criminal and treasonous threats to the country. And assume every promise is a lie. Not 100% perfect, but generally applicable. I point out that Joe* illegally used our taxes to pay the student loans of his donor's kids and not poor Citizens who can't afford to pay because of his policies. To be fair, he never promised he would not favor donors and sell the illegal debt relief! So while he did promise to violate the law to give our money to settle student loan debt, knowing he was breaking the law and would be stopped from helping the poor, it was only a partial lie about his actions. And I have not seen any attempt to reverse the theft/bribery by court or Congress. So... Not 100% reliable. Assuming they're going to screw us is pretty solid, though, generally. | ||
