You might consider Her traditional Christian loyalty order is to family, God, then country. ( correct me if I got that wrong ) Thus defending her Husband's allies is her first priority. You may think her priority order is different, Revolutionary Hatred First, ( Hate America, Jews, Human decency ) and zero unselfish reasons past that. But that's still Husband's Faith First, so there's no difference in results. And in Islamic tradition, Michelle would of course defer to her Husband's spiritual guidance, thus she would again refuse to condemn rape by his allies. Unfair and unrealistic to expect otherwise. Or, I suppose you might, at a stretch, consider Michelle a free women of a Western Civilization who can have her own opinions, ( although I don't recall her so claiming ) in which case she's just a horrible human being. Nikki blew it on the gender question. "Can a man become a woman?" NO. Hard stop. A man can DRESS like a woman. Can cut off their junk and try to LOOK like a woman. But the hard fact is...they are not - and will not ever be - a woman. Chromosomes do not change. Genetics do not change. Muscle mass and skeletal structure do not change. Child-bearing ability does not change. You have no right to be in womens' sports, or womens' bathrooms. You are playing make-believe, and expecting the world to play along...but that does NOT "make you a woman". Nikki blew it. Or...she showed her true colors. I think I agree with the above twit. Re: Nikki. I'm skeptical of a Lot about the accusations/hype/complaints & praise for her. Some pundits say she's the preferred R candidate of the Ds, because she's regressive like them and can be swayed to follow their agenda. Which is a thing her opponents would say. And "Gotcha!" questions are used by both sides ( even though the ratio of "reporters" is heavily Left, centrist reporters are more likely to get to ask such questions ) and a candidate has to choose the level of attack dog mentality dealing with the press. Vivek went hard, and got good reaction from centrists for one case.( At least ) But I can see not wanting to go hostile on the press. I'd prefer not letting them get away with loaded questions, and I think it's dumb to think the press Won't be hostile. ( so why not go hard? ) Otoh, wrong, I could be. | ||
