For the FAA to delay a rocket launch because the owner of the company bought Twitter and annoyed the illegal censoring Karens in the Holy State, it's a petty vindictive fascist Regime Choice.
re: space garbage, There's a passage in the novel where someone marvels at the fact that we actually have international laws to prevent cleaning up the Orbitals.
Now, that's not just UN insanity, no nation want's another to recover their old spy satellites, or discover what some of them actually are. ( See movie Space Cowboys. Fracking Awesome movie, highly underrated. )
edit, Oh, and the Novel above is a quick read, highly entertaining, well written, and good Science Fiction.

RE: the Ice Wall
That's the Mountains of Madness. They just look like an Antarctic range because of the mind altering nature of The Old Ones. Big conspiracy to hide it all on maps, and in the 50's "they" tried blaming the weird stuff in Antarctica on Nazis, and still try to blame everything on Imaginary Nazis and the Masons.
I'm not saying the world is flat! I know better. Cthulu for President!
We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far.
Launch attempt apparently delayed until Saturday. Ship has been destacked and hot staging ring is being removed so that a grid fin actuator on top of Booster 9 can be accessed for repair.
As soon as the booster did it's flip maneuver and stabilized it's trajectory, it lit 10 engines. That's when things went off script. It looked like 2 engines exploded. Several didn't light up. One of the 3 center engines quit as did a few more, all on the same side. It can not fly with a bunch of engines out, especially if they are all on one side and the FTS knows that. Right about that time, the FTS did it's job. Still don't know why the Starship went kablooey yet. That was awesome to watch!
Nobody at SpaceX is saying yet but the problem with the booster may have been related to fuel delivery. Also, it may not have been destroyed by the FTS. An interruption in fuel flow may have set the stage for the big kablooey. When it did the flip maneuver, it could only access fuel from the header tank. That's not much fuel volume for 13 engines. It really was a yuge explosion, wudnit? The real mystery to me is what went wrong with Starship?
