How about next Sunday (7/09) at 1:00? I'm just off I-81 near Hershey, PA heading up to Maine to see my new Grandson. A ride out the Mohawk Trail to Troy, NY for a Meet&Eat with Badwebbers at the Dinosaur BBQ sounds like a really good thing to me. | ||

That would be this coming Sunday, no? Hmmmm... I think I can do it. I'm heading up Friday to Vermont to help my brother celebrate his birthday but will be returning Saturday morning since I don't have a cat sitter this weekend. I can get to Troy on Sunday.  | ||

I'll break away for this one. Need to get my but in shape for my bucket list ride at the end of the month. Leaving on a 5 day trip to ride all of Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway. | ||

I hope everyone got where they were going okay. The rain heading home for me was pretty bad in spots but I had no idea HOW bad it was in spots along the way. It seems the flooding was damned near Biblical! I made it OK. I hit rain on the Mohawk Trail and put on my raingear. I took it off after I rode through the rain and had to stop to pee; so I got soaked when I hit the next band and had no place to stop. That's OK; it was a warm rain. I really enjoyed meeting up with you and everybody else. Maybe next time, we could try a different BBQ joint. Hoodoo Brown's in Connecticut was good, as I recall. | ||

I made it home without issue. Rode Rt 2 until the rain started coming down. Pulled over to put on my riding gear and Crusty was just leaving the same parking lot. Rode with him in the rain for a while before he broke off and headed home. I'll see most of you folks at WVBR next month.   |
