Kind of like scratching your car when it is new, or dropping the bike. Now I have no qualms about putting a sticker on it. I have urinated on it, and my territory has been marked.LOL
I am without Chirpy for a week or two. I had a problem with it on the Twos run. Actually there were a few things that went wrong. I fixed all but one problem. I do not have the Himalayan dealer's scan tool. The dealer I trust is 200 miles away and I took the bike there today. We spent near 3 hours tracking down the problem. There was an active trouble code on the fuel pump. Turned out to be a fuel pump plug that wasn't making good contact. The external plug on wiring harness was wonky and possibly the two pins are messed up inside the fuel pump. Sounds like a new plug and maybe a fuel pump under warranty. Parts ordered today and should be installed next week when they come in and then proofed. Then another 400 mile round trip for me. It made it home on the wonky plug by running it straight through with one fuel stop in 500 + miles.
After experiencing a fuel pump failure when the bike was warm and a couple of small issues, I determined that the bell had failed. I need a bell that castrates gremlins before casting them out. This fish snitcher wasn't getting the job done.
I have a horn in the car and a bell like on a trolley. Button for the bell is on the shift lever. Works better than the horn unless you just keep ringing it. I take it your electric car has a speaker that makes engine sounds?
