I rode well, never fell, and never felt any twinge of pain in my lower back. Next morning when I woke up, that’s when the pain began. Less than 7 weeks later, I could no longer walk. It was time to move into hospital. I used to tell people I never thought I would get cancer. That was for “other” people, not me. My how life can change fast. They have me on steroids now, and I know they help, but my stomach doesn’t like them and they send my blood sugars sky high.
