I can't believe you guys aren't discussing this. EVERYONE believed the pretty lady that she was the victim of domestic abuse. Johnny Depp lost potential MILLIONS when not only Disney dropped him from the lucrative "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise, but he was also replaced by Mads Mikkelsen in the "Fantastic Beasts" franchise. The truth is now coming out. Johnny apparently wasn't the perpetrator, he was the VICTIM! Yet, the "pretty lady" doesn't seem to be suffering any consequences. EVERYBODY always assumes it's the male who's the villain, but women are just as human and every bit as capable of being monsters even if they are "pretty." |

I guess the lack of discussion just points to the level of (dis)interest... Personally, I could care less about a self-important ass who says in public "it's been too long since an actor killed a president". As for the fact that yes, a lot of times, the woman IS the monster...that's a completely different discussion and doesn't require Johnny Depp's presence or involvement. |

+1 While Johnny Depp is a victim of Amber Heard in my mind, he lost me as a fan years ago with his politics. Calling for the assassination of the President was the final straw. While he has every right to think and believe as he wishes, I have every right to ignore him. |

Since he was referring to The Brightly Burning Trash Fire, and the ENTIRE GOP was too damned GUTLESS to do anything about that piece of trash I felt he was just voicing the same frustration the majority of the country was feeling during those four years. I know that in here, the motorcycling equivalent of 4Chan, that those feelings aren't universally shared but there you have it. Freedom of speech applies to Johnny Depp as well. |

Encouraging the assassination of a United States of America President is never okay. No matter the Party they are in or represent. Something Democrats have a hard time understanding. While Depp does indeed have free speech, calling for an assassination of the President is a felony. One that should have been prosecuted. Since you're going to call Trump a piece of trash, I'll go ahead and call Biden a senile, bumbling, crime lord. A sellout to foreign powers, who extorted Ukraine and is now backing them primarily to cover for his sins. Talk about gutless, how about the Democrats who are attacking Freedom of Speech and support the Crime Lords "Disinformation Board"... And, the majority of the country did not feel that way. If you believe Biden honesty got 81 million votes, I feel sorry for you. |

Some internet sites are all high on punishing Amber. I have crossed her off my list of celebrities I'd marry if I was stupid enough to ask a Genie to have one fall in love with me. Seems the "don't marry crazy" advice applies to both. So thus ain't my bandwagon. As to free speech, Brightly Burning Trash Fire is both mildly clever and better than most media. |

Calling for someone’s death is not protected speech. |

I count myself a Depp fan, from 21 jump street to what’s eating gilbert grape to secret window, to the pirate films. I want to think he was stoned/drunk when he wondered publicly why it has been so long since an actor killed a president. Still, quite a turn off. |

Depp is a fantastic actor. Very talented. I too loved him in 21 Jump Street. And most of his other movies as well. |
