https://www.denverpost.com/2022/02/24/rocky-mounta in-harley-davidson-closing/ SCREW THEM!!! Sell Indians! What a business model; don't innovate, focus on a small niche market, and reduce dealer network. In other words, let's shrink instead of grow. How do I invest in this BRILLIANT idea? |

And as the toilet flushes, the turds pick up speed as they get closer to going down the drain... You have to expect such lunacy when Al Bundy is CEO. That Super Touring Buell is looking better all the time... |

Explain how H-D can think this is a good idea? How much $ does it cost H-D to have a franchised dealer? I think some of the auto Mfg's did this a while back, and what happened is other (foreign) automakers moved right in to the abandoned dealerships, getting experienced sales and service people for practically free. |

To think, I was actually contemplating the Pan America in my near future to take over the Uly's duties, so much for that, but the idiots at HD will never understand that which can not be put in spreadsheets by their worthless bean counters! |

that sucks... I've been there many times as i used to live about 2 miles away. even had my 1125R serviced there a few times. as for Indians, there is a dealer essentially across the street (if i remember correctly). |

Yeah, I thought of that right after I posted, and I believe it's Grand Prix Motorsports. I think they used to sell Victorys, so that would probably mean they sell Indians now. I'm up in the mountains, so I don't get down to the big city very often. |

Hundreds of HD dealerships have closed in the last couple years and more to follow. Wake up and smell the coffee. Its been a Brand for 30 years and they can never change. Market is saturated with a better product already so they will stay as they are. A Brand. Explain how H-D can think this is a good idea? NEED TO SAVE MONEY How much $ does it cost H-D to have a franchised dealer? LOTS AND THEY HAVE TO SUPPORT EVERYTHING THAT GOES ON THERE. I think some of the auto Mfg's did this a while back, and what happened is other (foreign) automakers moved right in to the abandoned dealerships, getting experienced sales and service people for practically free. NO ONE MISSES OLDSMOBILE AND PONTIAC. There were some good attempts at quality but overwhelmingly the last 15 years of Olds and Pont. included some of the worst engineered shit box cars the world has ever known. GM had too many model lines and so it really was crazy expensive to support so many brands. Consolidate and streamline operations to stay alive. We almost lost GM if it wasnt for the tax payer. As a tax payer I dont want to bail out HD again! (Message edited by victory on February 28, 2022) |

Denver area has too many HD dealers. Within 40 miles of downtown is Thunder Mountain, High Country, Sun, Avalanche and another one or two I can’t remember. Used to be 4 Buell shops here too. Z |

I deal with Thunder Mountain at work at times and they're good people. I hope they aren't next. |
