Afaik, Fauci has little to do with the FDA criminalizing "unapproved" drugs for the AIDS victims. His HIV related sins are probably worse, testing drugs on children with inadequate adult advocacy & permission. Often, false accusations mask real bad behavior. Like accusing Hitler of hypocrisy for being a closet gay & persecuting gays. Yeah, acquired immunity is broader and better than the mRNA vaccines, except for the getting sick part. That can kill or cripple you. Especially if older, fatter, and sicker. I'm still waiting for better data on bad side effects on younger men and women. Because it's political, hard to find trustworthy sources on side effects, inflammation seems the big problem, all related to individual biochemistry, just as how severe any bug is to you. Do I discount the doom pushers on the Left and eagerly buy the doom pushers on the Right? Or treat any editorial as Opinion and wait for actual science? Because all you get are editorials from the "news". Where are the death counts at the corner of every CNN show? They were there last year. I guess the crisis is over since they quit talking about it with the new Occupants moved in. Reminds me of the daily death count in Afghanistan & Iraq. Every day, 24/7 until suddenly a New Occupant and never, ever mentioned again. Where do you go to fact check this? There is evidence (as in, dead bodies) of severe heart problems among the (otherwise healthy, and actually athletic) young recipients of the jab. It is poo-poohed by the "press" as "not related to the jab", but....close enough to medical data for my mind. They're pushing it this hard, demanding compliance ("or else!")...I think I'll wait it out. Especially since the latest (horrible! huge new cases! it's everywhere!) variant MIGHT give you a case of the sniffles if you get it. | ||

Worth your time and otherwise I feel no need to comment.I Rat, The spike protein causing inflammation is why I have been not urging using the current mRNA vaccines on children and young adults, but do recommend it for at risk elderly. I don't have reliable numbers on risk. The vaccines that don't induce production of spike protein, which we now know some people can't process well, seem a much better choice, if available. But I must point out that there's a small percentage of people who have allergies to the egg protein found in traditional vaccine production, and they should make another choice. I do wonder if the genetic issues with processing spike protein is a factor in the severity of reaction to the Coronavirus itself, too. I'm reminded of a 1980's short sci-fi story in Analog magazine. A ship sunk in WW2 with a uber-toxic chemical in the hold, starts leaking and the unexpected aged & altered chemical will destroy all sea life we depend on to, well, breathe. Desperately, the scientists recommend dropping a big nuke on the sunken ship to destroy the threat. None of the classes I've taken are for Elites. Heck, I've taken the same course on not getting body fluids in my eyes and mouth multiple times. ( they keep finding new diseases to warn us about, but otherwise... ) And I've been lucky to take CPR classes with EMS pros, who aren't shy about telling cautionary tales. I give them credit for preparing me a little for the nastier scenes I've been at. Especially those fortunately few where there was nothing anyone could do. I've had more medical instruction in a tent than a classroom. On purpose. That's where I learned to cover the wounded's body with my own when the helicopters kick up dust. That has proved tragically useful. Ditto making splints from whatever... And yeah I take CPR repeatedly. They keep updating the technique. The transformation in the attitude to “being infected “ is interesting. That ties back to the focus on cases and not if they got sick or not and age groups.etc. Plus the hatred of therapeutics such as HCQ, etc. The only hope had to be lockdowns and government control. | ||

Airliner air filtration systems. We are assured they are state of the art and make flying in an airliner perfectly safe. Uh, what filtration system? I'm serious. Airliners, turbo prop puddle jumpers or the biggest 4 engine Airbus, ALL use the same air system to keep passengers alive. It's in the FAA regulations. It's pretty darn simple, bleed air from the compressor stage of the turbine. ( suck-squeeze-bang-blow is the same cycle as your bike. You "bleed" ( graphic, but accurate ) a small part of the compressed air off the engine and pipe it into the plane ) That air is passed through a control valve, ( so you don't lose power on the ground, important to take off ) and, yes, a filter. ( for dust and smoke. You might notice it doesn't stop smells, as you get strong whiffs of burnt Jet-A when the wind is right and you taxi through another plane's exhaust ) The compressed air is ducted into the cockpit, and First Class, up at the front of the plane. Through those overhead air vents, too. The fresh air flows, slowly, from front to back, where it escapes through the second Most Important part, the pressurization control valve. Then out of the plane. ( if it jams shut, the fuselage will split open like a blown tire. If it jams open, alarms go off, and the pilot descends until the air is thick enough to keep the passengers alive and diverts to the nearest airport ) Airliners have at least 2 of those escape valves to be sure the cabin doesn't explode. One pass, front to back. There are curtains Between sections, not even close to air tight. Airliner really don't like pointing out the expensive seats get the most fresh air, and the cheap seats in back get far less, and mostly get the used air from up front. Luckily the dry air doesn't carry smells as much so the body stink, farts, etc. aren't unbearable, even at the back. It's not circulated. It's generally one big room, and they dump it so you don't suffocate from the CO2 everyone exhales. One seldom mentioned fact is that EVERY American airline eagerly banned smoking in quick succession, not so much out of concern for passenger health, but because it allowed them to turn down the bleed air valve ( which improved fuel economy ) once the need to reduce the smoke to a bearable level ( especially in the cheap seats ) was gone. Most of the cost of airline travel is fuel. Gallons per passenger mile. Saving a fraction of a gallon over hundreds of both is a Huge change in profits. They reinforced the cockpit doors after 2001. They reduced galley gear over time, and went to pre-packaged meals, or none, over time. ( the original 747s had much bigger kitchens than today, and they were small compared to the Boeing Clippers ) But filtration? They sure haven't changed anything except the filter cartridge in the last 2 years. And since the air comes from Outside, unless you are taxiing through a zombie apocalypse, airborne viruses aren't an issue, at all. But INSIDE the flying bus, it's a tube full of people breathing the same air. Period. | ||
