Let's go Brandon! is the fine work by a reporter trying to not admit to a rude statement of disrespect for a politician. It's both a fairly responsible effort to not be crass, and a typical refusal to admit unpleasant truths, which has become the SOP for a biased propaganda arm of One Side. Kudos to the nice lady for the first, and deserved contempt to her bosses for the second. Dialog is not their goal. Simply, if your ideas and goals are worthy of debate, you Want to have a dialog, because you think you can win the argument and show everyone the other side is wrong. You might lose! But you want to try. If your ideas and goals are Known to you to be indefensible, are based on lies you don't want to admit, you Don't want a dialog, you Want to shut the Enemy up. The Left censors contrary opinions because it's actions cannot stand scrutiny. It HAS TO LIE, and keep lying, because the Truth is not how they can win. The Left is big on rewriting history, because that's the big lie to win tactic. They, Joe* & Barry, and their Klan & Communist Parties, ( which are now just different in name only ) want you to believe the Republicans formed the Klan. ( Jefferson Davis wasn't in Lincoln's Party, in case you were denied that Fact ) They accuse any attempt to reduce vote fraud, as Jim Crow, wanting you to believe decades of racist politics were their Enemies, not them, oh, no, not us. I don't intent to praise the Republican Establishment. Far from it, I could rage for pages on their sins, not least is the fact they hate Trump or Any Outsider even more than the Democrats do. Consider all the career pols who back stabbed and leaked rumors about Donald the Game Show Host. Big rich important Rs who said to vote for Hillary, because Donald was a bigger threat to their bribes and Sweet Deals for greater wealth after retirement. Millionaires, all. We had 8 years of intensely rude hatred for GWB. Plays and novels had him assassinated. The F-bomb was common, accepted, and proudly printed on signs carried in protest. It was even worse for Donald. Deserved, or not, in your or mine opinion, it was open hate and often, if not always, based on lies about his actions. ( lies about his motivation are harder to prove for Donald & Joe*. Or anyone. ) So Let's go Brandon is just FJB with a snicker, and a slam against the Party Propaganda Media. You may not enjoy the adolescent humor, but the middle finger to the millionaires running the Propaganda machines is richly deserved, imho. Finally, it's both funny & terrifying that either no one allowed Joe* to even know thousands of Citizens were chanting disrespect for his actions, Or he is so addled, he forgot. Nixon? There's plenty to Not like about Nixon. Some may point out that his creation of the EPA was a mistake as it grew like any government agency like a cancer that metastasized. Others may praise the clean air and water it's supposed to ensure. ( I do both ) But 2 of Nixon's actions stand out in my memory. A. Illegal drugs. The N. Vietnamese and China operated a narco terrorism campaign against America. (The CCP still is. Fentanyl from China is the #1 cause of death among young American males today. ) American servicemen were addicted to heroin in huge numbers as a ploy to beat us. Nixon wanted a free drug addiction treatment program to help them, and society. But the D controlled Congress mutated that idea into a harsh, corrupt, authoritarian War on Americans that continues to this day, and utterly fails to solve a problem so lucrative to the politicians. B. The Vietnam War. Started as assistance to the government of S. Vietnam against the Communist takeover of rich oil fields, by JFK. ( yep, Vietnam was about oil. And conquest ) Expanded into a pit of insane rules of engagement and diplomacy, killing thousands and thousands... By LBJ. Nixon got us out. Then the D controlled Congress screwed the South by cutting off military supplies and support. After, I must point out, the U.S. & Allied forces destroyed the bulk of the N. Vietnamese Army during the Tet Offensive. Which the most trusted man in America outright lied to us about. ( and I loved his work before that! ) In both cases, Tricky Dick was right. The Ds in power screwed everyone. Right over the line to outright Treason and tyranny. But they won't admit any of that. Let's go Brandon. | ||

Good back and forth, Pete... I guess it just aggravates me seeing us all becoming so base. Not having met you, only knowing you via the BW, personally I'll not say F you. Wasn't raised that way. The vitriol... yeah, it certainly runs both blue and red. I get it- it's just saddening. If we only shout at one another, that is not at all talking. I remember the video of that fella, Brandon, doing what needed to be done, and the remarkable reflex, the training that he showed to repel those robbers. Incredible. No other way to describe it, and yes, he's a hero. That act on video... I just didn't follow how it became a catchphrase to say F the POTUS. Oh well... I just wish that we, as both Republican and Democrat, could just work. If we cannot work, talk, with one another... it does not bode well for our democracy. I do remember much of my liberal arts edumacashun, my friends. Talking with brother Vern yesterday... again and again, I'm reminded of how brilliant he and I are together, as great friends. Riding buddies, all of that. I only wish that everyone could get along like Vern and Derples/me. Heading out to ride most of the day... hope you guys have a similar day. | ||

Brandon is a NASCAR race driver with no political gain or interest other than winning those races. It was a reporter that created the phrase "let's go Brandon". To avoid/deflect the NASCAR crowd's chant of FJB. That deceit, that "noble lie?" went viral and now it's the polite and sarcastic substitute for the F-bomb & middle finger to the Establishment in D.C. & Media propaganda. Have a good day! | ||

Oh... and for the record, one of my favorite veterinary doctors is a Trump. She diagnosed D'Ogee with his cancer. Love that lady... haven't yet spoken with her about our Christmas eve 2021.
