I lost a good friend today. He died about an hour ago, I just found out. He died of Covid / Complications from Covid. He was 71, and had other health issues. He is the first personal friend/brother of mine to die from the disease. I'll miss him quite a bit. He was in the first Motorcycle Club, XWINOS MC, I became a member of, and he treated me well always. We were friends and brothers even long after I was no longer in that club. He and a bunch of guys from the club were on the HD poster advertising the all new EVO Engine when it came out. He will always be a bit of a legend to me... I really dislike the Chinese Government right about now. | ||

You know; I keep reading that Ivermectin isn't approved for treating Covid; but when I was hospitalized, The hospital gave it to me, along with Remdesivir, a Z-pack, an experimental drug (whose name I've forgotten) that I had to sign a separate release form for, and who knows what else. It may be popular for certain parties to badmouth or praise something, but the doctors who cured me ignored all the hype and did their jobs. I was so sick that I had my brother drive me to the ER. I don't do ERs unless it's an Emergency. I was so sick that I had real trouble walking 20 feet without passing out. They cured me. If you think Covid 19 is overblown, I suggest you get it and make your own evaluation | ||

If you think Covid 19 is overblown, I suggest you get it and make your own evaluation I actually welcome it. I'm healthy, with ZERO co-conditions. Healthy heart. No diabetes. No circulatory issues. No lung or respiratory issues. No old age (although I ain't as young as I once was...). I eat right. I take vitamins. I bathe. I wash my hands. I spend as much time outdoors as I can. I exercise regularly. Bring it. I'll take natural antibodies over an mRNA concoction anyday. | ||

Crusty, that is a false dichotomy. Something can be serious and overblown at the same time. It doesn't have to be either/or. For example, falling in the shower is serious, thousands of people die from it each year. But it would be overblown if the MSM kept reporting on people falling and dying in the shower every day. Covid is overblown knowing that it has a >99,7% survival rate. This doesn't mean that getting it is a breeze. Instead, what this means is that getting Covid is not the death sentence that the MSM makes it to be. Knowing that Covid is not a death sentence, it makes no sense to force people to get an experimental mRNA injection. Basically, if you're reasonably healthy, then you have nothing to fear from Covid even if you do get it. Is it going to be fun getting Covid? Probably not, but it won't kill you unless you already have serious health conditions. If that is the case, then it would be wise to make certain lifestyle choices so that you can increase your survival rate. What's that saying, "Prepare for the worst, hope for the best". Prepare yourself by eating right, sleeping good, exercise, cut out chronic stress. Most people don't do these things, so they are not prepared when things go wrong. But preparation is half the battle. Healthy people don't get sick that often, and when they do get sick they recover faster. Regarding Ivermectin, I've read good things about it. India has used it and they're basically Covid free in many districts. I am not very familiar with Ivermectin's pathway of action, but if it works it works. I am not very familiar with Ivermectin's pathway of action, but if it works it works. The MSM can bathmouth Ivermectin all they want, but that just ruins their credibility even further. FWIW, ivermectin is not a "horse medicine", as the media would have you believe. It is a well-known, long-used, tried-and-true anti-malarial drug that is used to treat many other concerns in humans. It ABSOLUTELY works, and I plan to get my own inventory soon just in case. | ||

Rat, They sell Ivermectin at my local farm store. I've been giving it to my dogs to prevent heartworms for years. At one point I said I wouldn't use it, but that is no longer the case. If I come down with Covid, and my doctor won't give it to me, I'm downing some of the stuff. | ||

Good point, Figor. There are always risks involved with every drug, be it Ivermectin, Acetaminophen, Aspirin, etc. Even if you take the correct dosage of some drug, there still exists the likelihood of contraindications. Everyone's "biochemistry" is different, everyone's immune system reacts differently to different drugs. It is a risk/benefit analysis. The mRNA injection is not without risks, either. Reports from Great Britain and Israel show that the mRNA injection is multiple times more deadly than Covid itself. One of the foundational principles of medicine is that the cure should not be more deadly than the disease. If the mRNA injection is more deadly than Covid, then that would be one reason not to enforce it on everyone. Another reason not to enforce the mRNA injection is that its effectiveness wanes off over time. This requires continuous booster shots. Israel currently requires three shots, otherwise your are regarded as "unvaccinated". Booster shots ad infinitum benefit big pharma's profits, but it may not benefit your health. How your immune system reacts to these injections in the long term is an open question. There are reports that the mRNA injection weakens the immune system, making it less capable of defending against new variants. Enforcing something with unknown long-term effects is not good medical practice. | ||

Should you? You listen to who you want to. Me; I listen to people who have made a career out of curing sick people. You know; the folks who spend years in school learning different aspects of their profession, then they spend a few more years as interns before they can start working on their own. Of course; you can take the word of somebody who read about what to do or what to take on farcebook, but has no medical training whatsoever over the opinion of a Professional. Crusty, My question was rhetorical, since of course I wouldn't listen to any idiot from Hollywood! I was not directing any hostility towards you either. There are plenty of doctors that don't agree with the shot, there are plenty who put money first, and there are plenty that don't want their career canceled, so who do you trust regardless of the diploma on the wall. My wife's employer, of 25+ years now, has put forth a mandate worse than Hiel Biden's. They aren't allowing employees to opt for regular testing in lieu of the shot. She has a vascular disease that would allow blood clots in her lungs go right to her brain. So, where's the free choice in that? Get the shot and risk your life for the privilege to work for them!
