The Mantra of the day seems to be "we will have to live with Covid". Duh. For 18 months some $%&#s have been pushing the science fiction brag that they can just make a disease go away by vaccination or masks or only allowing parties for The Elite. You don't wear a shoe on your head! Bull. It takes many years, a comprehensive vaccination program over an entire planet, and the list of successful eradication is tiny. Like count on one hand. If it was the "normal" problem people have, which is reaction to the eggs that most old school vaccines are grown in, then the Pfizer & Moderna mRNA vaccines would be perfectly safe. But, the GBS reaction problem to vaccines is probably or maybe a reaction to any stimulation of the immune system. A vaccination or getting a bug ( flu, colds, Rabies, etc. ) kicks the immune system into high gear. For some people that kicks into a higher gear than is "normal" and starts attacking parts of the nerves. It's a weird marginal auto-immune thing. ( Auto-immune is your body attacking itself, with your system not discriminating well between foreign and domestic... ) As to recommendations? Lawyer, certainly, but you'll get more sympathy and possibly better results if it's put forward that you want proper health care for your daughter, and only want to get a big payout if it's refused for insane reasons of bureaucratic rigidity. Also check with your docs, if they recommend the mRNA tech. How people react is very individual. Especially for those prone to G-B reactions. How old is your daughter? With my limited understanding I'd be cautious if she's under 17. ( This isn't a dirty old pervert question, although I don't claim not to be one, it's the risk vs. age question ) | ||
