Hello all. Been quite a long time away from here. An awful lot has happened since last. Through it all, with health and downsizing, i have decided to sell my 2000 X-1 Lightning. My heart and soul want to keep it, but my health, or lack of strength, dictates me to sell it. Been a fun and "smiles of the miles, and miles of the smiles" riding. Only had less than 18k on it. Has a ton of extras, and i have done quite alot to it. I already posted it in the for sale section. However i am having issues shrinking down the images. I don't have a software program to do that, so i will have to figure that out. Anyway may all be good with all of you here.LT Buell | ||

Welcome back, brother! Sad to hear that you're no longer riding... but we will all come upon that day, sooner or later. Perhaps you could simply look upon the situation as just passing a beloved steed on, to someone who can "exercise" her properly and keep her happy. That's what I've decided to do when my day comes, to sell any of my bikes. Also, very importantly, when I stop riding two wheels, I'll be acquiring a nice convertible. Ideally a Pebble Beach edition Lexus SC430.   I keep this calendar on my desk- I've tried to get one every year, as it always gives me great quotes to think about. Here ya go for today.  | ||

Hello Ourdee. Been a long time. Love those proverb calenders. May all be good with you as well. Miss being here. Lousy reason to resurface. Wish my health/strength was improved so i could keep the bike. Miss the riding. Plus i belong to the Christian Motorcycle Association. Love the group and what we do out on the road. 'Changing the world, one heart at a time" is their motto. Just downloaded the resized pics of the bike for the ad. Also have an ad on Facebook Marketplace and craigslist. | ||

Many other "things" in my life,somewhat detoured me away.As they are called"distraction", and boy, we all had many of those , expecially the past several years and more notably towards the end of last year. But thats for another time and post all to its own.  | ||
