“I think I could take one apart blindfolded!” Why not? They put them together blindfolded. Just kidding… |

Thanks Hugh, appreciate the pics and the time to post them up. You can find Buells almost anywhere. . .
Invercargill, NZ - - at the hardware store where a lot of Burt Munro's Indian parts are showcased.
Indian under glass, looks a lot better than the cheesy Husqvarna's in the background... |

Hugh, I was just there this past week myself. I took the wife and kids Wednesday the 9th and went back Thursday the 10th by myself because they were not as enthused about it as I was. What an amazing place. I am still going through my pictures and will add to this thread when I can. I took a bunch of the Griffin project I had counted 26 Buells on display |

Glad you got to go, Will. This was one of my favorite motorcycles: It’s a 1912 Wagner.
This is the father of my dad’s best friend delivering the mail here in SC on a similar vintage Wagner. His name was Julius Lifrage, and he was still alive when I was a kid. I actually found the remains of this motorcycle (pretty much the frame and engine) when I was about 10 at an abandoned house across the street from where the man shown above lived, although I didn’t know what it was at the time. Many years later I saw this photo and recognized the bike. It sure would be cool to find it now. |

Wow... both Hugh and Tq. Post all the pics you can, I'm just hoping to make it there for Vintage Days one year. Maybe next. |

Doing a cross-country trek (by car) and decided to stop by the AMA Hall of Fame Museum outside of Columbus, Ohio. Since the thread is on motorcycles, thought I'd post some here. Henderson:

That last one looks a little "Shovely". Yeah, good catch - - it's a 1972 Super Glide..., he did his other travels on a Sportser, then upgraded to a Uly. Paul (Message edited by PNW ULYs on July 02, 2021) |
